Hollywood recast voice actors constantly, but Mae Questel had a terrifying, iron-clad grip on her vocal cords. She started voicing the squeaky Betty Boop in 1931. Fast forward to 1988, when the creators of 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit' needed someone to voice Betty for a cameo. Instead of hiring a soundalike, they brought in the 79-year-old Questel, who flawlessly belted out the exact same routine without missing a beat.
