Sometimes the ghosts bring presents, but they are usually deeply underwhelming. An apport is an object that supposedly teleported into a locked room through purely supernatural means. Rather than materializing gold or answers to the universe, these ethereal deliveries usually consisted of damp pebbles, cheap flowers, or inexplicably warm coins.
