HERE’S THE INTERESTING PART

The lowest two pairs of your ribs apparently gave up halfway around your torso. Known as 'floating ribs,' they attach to your spine in the back but completely lack any cartilage connection to the sternum in the front, leaving them dangling like anatomical afterthought.
