Because going 20 mph in a spandex suit isn't terrifying enough, a woman named Denise Mueller-Korenek decided to flirt with death. By riding in the slipstream of a modified pace car across the Bonneville Salt Flats, she pedaled a custom bike to 183.9 mph. If she had hit a pebble, she would have evaporated instantly, but at least she beat the morning traffic.
