After dedicating his entire life to writing millions of words to perfectly organize all known theology, the smartest guy in Europe abruptly put down his pen. He had an intensely brief ecstatic experience during a routine mass and firmly declared that everything he had previously written was practically completely worthless straw. He flatly refused to write another sentence and died shortly after.
