When Nixon smuggled weed for Louis Armstrong

HERE’S THE INTERESTING PART

The architect of the War on Drugs inadvertently acted as a drug mule for a jazz legend. When Louis Armstrong was sweating at customs with a suitcase full of weed, Vice President Nixon walked up, grabbed the bags, and bypassed security by saying, 'Ambassadors of jazz don't have to go through customs.' Nixon carried the drugs right onto the plane, entirely clueless that he was committing a federal felony.
