Refusing to pick a demographic is a great way to stay culturally relevant. Lalon was a legendary Bengali songwriter who wrote incredible verses about universal love, but he violently refused to tell anyone whether he was born Hindu or Muslim. When people asked about his caste or creed, he just wrote more incredibly catchy songs mocking them for caring about something so trivial.
