David Fincher refused to let the psychological manipulation stop just because the movie ended. The director explicitly designed the Fight Club DVD to initially boot up with the bubbly, pink motion graphics and menus for the Drew Barrymore romantic comedy "Never Been Kissed," deliberately tricking viewers into thinking they bought the wrong disc before violently glitching into the actual menu.
