A Portal That Takes Two Players to Make
A meeting stone is a way for a party to bring a faraway member to its location without asking that player to cross the world on foot or by mount. But it does not work like a self-service teleport: one player begins the summoning, and another party member must interact with the stone to complete the setup. The distant player then receives the chance to accept the summon.
That extra participant changes the stone from a convenience one person can use alone into a small coordination task. The party has to gather at the destination and spare a second player to help, even if only briefly. If everyone else is already inside a dungeon or occupied, someone may need to pause and come back to the entrance.
The Journey Still Belongs to the Group
The arrangement makes travel a shared piece of party logistics. A late member can be brought to the group, but only once the people already there cooperate to open the way. The portal saves the long journey; it does not erase the need for teammates to organize around it.
