Australian crocodiles can gallop

HERE’S THE INTERESTING PART

As if an apex predator with prehistoric armor plating wasn't bad enough, Australia went ahead and upgraded them to dog software. Freshwater crocodiles can effortlessly transition from a standard belly-crawl into a full bounding gallop, reaching land speeds up to 11 miles per hour. Seeing a literal murder-log sprinting toward you with all four legs leaving the ground at once is top-tier nightmare fuel.
