Dickens hid a door behind fake books

Because simply closing a wooden door doesn't offer enough theatrical flair. Dickens had a secret door installed in his study that was disguised as a bookshelf. To make it convincing, he invented hilarious, fake titles for the faux book spines, including a nine-volume set titled 'Cat’s Lives' and a book called 'The Art of Tearing Up Books'.
