Birch trees droop while you sleep

HERE’S THE INTERESTING PART

It seems humans aren't the only ones completely exhausted by the simple act of existing all day. Scientists using laser scanners discovered that trees have their own circadian rhythms. Without the sun driving photosynthesis and cellular turgor pressure, birch branches physically sag up to 10 centimeters overnight, resting until the morning light forces them back to work.
