Milarepa ate so many nettles that his skin turned green

Extreme diets usually just make you irritable, but this one literally changed a guy's skin tone. After a youth spent causing incredible amounts of destruction, Milarepa decided to live in a freezing cave to seek redemption. He survived solely on a massive soup made entirely of local stinging nettles, supposedly eating so much of it that he became incredibly thin and distinctly green.
