A closer look
The angry French river beast that perfectly combined the absolute worst parts of a snake and a hedgehog. Also known as the Shaggy Beast, this completely bizarre monster featured a turtle-like shell completely covered in bright green, razor-sharp quills that it could aggressively shoot at angry villagers. It essentially took the most annoying defensive mechanism found in existence, scaled it up to the size of a hippopotamus, and added an insatiable appetite for eating local livestock.
