This 19th-century Black mystic and physician taught that the highest spiritual truths could only be accessed via strategic orgasms and heavy hashish use. He built an entire esoteric order around the idea that the bedroom was the ultimate laboratory for bending the fabric of reality, much to the horror of Victorian pearl-clutchers.
