When Bungie was struggling to nail down Master Chief’s final color palette, art director Marcus Lehto simply looked at his own personal vehicle: a heavily modified, custom-painted green Honda CR-X. He lifted the exact shade of olive green from his daily driver and slapped it onto the Spartan's MJOLNIR armor. Yes, gaming's greatest super-soldier is basically a 90s hatchback.
