Grigori Rasputin might be the most annoying uninvited guest in history because the man simply refused to die. The self-proclaimed holy man embedded himself into the Romanov royal family, much to the anger of Russian nobles. They lured him to a party, fed him cakes laced with enough cyanide to kill an elephant, and then shot him when he didn't die. He still tried to run away, so they shot him again, beat him, and threw him in an icy river. The autopsy allegedly showed he actually died of hypothermia.
