The metal that loses its magnetism at room temperature

HERE’S THE INTERESTING PART

Gadolinium is fiercely magnetic when placed in a frigid room, but it gives up immediately when things get slightly comfortable. It has an incredibly low Curie temperature, meaning merely letting the ambient room temperature drift upward is enough to make it instantly drop whatever it was holding and completely abandon its magnetic properties.
