Why tree kangaroos sometimes fall from trees

HERE’S THE INTERESTING PART

Evolution forgot to give this canopy-dwelling marsupial any real agility. Tree kangaroos awkwardly climb massive jungle trees to forage, but they completely lack the precise balance of true monkeys. Startled by the slightest noise, they frequently slip and plummet dozens of feet straight down to the forest floor, relying entirely on their robust skeletons to survive the impact.
