Dirt Rally recorded co-driver screams in a real rally car
Method acting apparently extends to digital co-drivers now. Instead of recording the pacenotes in a nice, comfortable studio, the audio director strapped a voice actor into a real rally car and aggressively threw them around a dirt track to capture authentic panic in their voice. Nothing says dedication like physically endangering your cast just to make sure the digital bumps sound genuine.
