If you complain about getting six hours of sleep, you wouldn't survive a single day on the savanna. Being a towering, awkward collection of long bones makes giraffes incredibly vulnerable to predators, especially when lying down. To survive, they adapted an insane sleep schedule, catching micro-naps of just five minutes at a time while standing completely upright. In a full 24-hour period, they rarely accumulate more than half an hour of actual rest.
