Slapping thick sound-dampening foam onto every internal panel seems like a luxury upgrade, until everything inside starts cooking. High-end builds ditch the heavy padding entirely in favor of completely perforated metal mesh on all sides. Turns out, aggressively venting the massive internal exhaust is vastly more important than hiding the dull roar of spinning fans.
