Chris Pratt completely improvised the famous line in Parks and Recreation where he diagnoses Leslie Knope's computer issues by claiming it has network connectivity problems. The writers of the show were reportedly furious, not because the joke was bad, but because an actor offhandedly delivered the funniest line of the entire season without any prior writing experience. He just casually looked at a blank screen and dropped a brilliantly stupid tech-support punchline that perfectly encapsulated his character's lovable idiocy. It is a harsh reality for professional comedy writers that you can spend years honing your craft at an Ivy League school, only to be utterly destroyed by a guy who used to live in a van and thinks spelling is optional!
