Before they were the most universally hated villains in modern history, early Nazis were just incredibly racist mythology nerds. The Thule Society was an occult group dedicated to proving the Aryan race descended from a mythical, highly advanced lost continent called Thule. They held secret mystical rituals, obsessed over magical runes, and eventually sponsored the exact political party that Hitler would take over. It’s a chilling reminder that dabbling in unhinged mystical fantasies can definitely escalate into actual global catastrophes.
