Through the aggressive use of advanced CRISPR genetic editing, bio-engineers are actively attempting to pull the massive, striped Tasmanian tiger completely out of extinction. By heavily splicing incredibly well-preserved museum DNA directly into the genome of a close living relative, they hope to physically birth a hybrid proxy.
