During Kett's Rebellion in Norfolk, a massive army of angry commoners held off King Edward VI's professional troops in a highly unconventional manner. When the heavily armored royal cavalry charged, a rebel reportedly dropped his pants, completely exposed himself, and flung his own feces at the attackers. The sheer chaotic disrespect broke the army's morale, causing them to panic and temporarily retreat.
