A closer look

Long before tech bros were early adopting VR headsets, Mark Twain was flexing his mechanical keyboard. He purchased a Remington typewriter in 1874 and eventually submitted the manuscript for 'Life on the Mississippi' completely typewritten. He hated the machine so much that he constantly complained it ruined his morals, but he still secures his spot as the very first author to hit a publisher with a physical hard copy.
