Sometimes a cartoon isn't banned for its biting satire, but for completely unhinged local paranoias. Myanmar previously banned 'The Simpsons' not because of Homer's alcoholism or Bart's disrespect for authority, but because local censors explicitly outlawed the colors yellow and red in film. Springfield's entire jaundice-hued population was deemed visually illegal.
