Leave it to the Pentagon to brainstorm the absolute most unhinged methods of psychological warfare. In 1994, the Wright Laboratory in Ohio requested $7.5 million to develop a 'halitosis bomb' and an aphrodisiac chemical weapon that would provoke widespread homosexual behavior among enemy troops, thereby causing a breakdown of morale and discipline. Unsurprisingly, this scientifically absurd 'Gay Bomb' never made it past the initial proposal phase, mostly because you can't weaponize sexual orientation with a spray can.
