When a 12th-century Chinese village had a demon problem, Shenxiao Daoist masters didn't politely exorcise it—they called in literal airstrikes. This elite sect specialized in 'Thunder Magic' (Wulei fa), which required the practitioner to visualize thunderstorms brewing inside their own internal organs. By aggressively circulating their Qi, drawing complex talismans, and tapping their teeth, they believed they could exteriorize this internal weather system to shoot actual lightning bolts at local evil spirits, turning their bodies into organic tesla coils.
