The Bergensbanen railway operates in a climate so consistently hostile it makes Hoth look like a tropical resort. To stop passenger trains from being casually yeeted off mountainsides by avalanches, engineers enclosed miles of track in massive wooden sheds, essentially building a sprawling indoor railway just to outsmart the Norwegian winter.
