Buzz Aldrin took the first space selfie
Decades before influencers were blocking sidewalks with ring lights, astronauts were out there pioneering the art of the selfie in zero gravity. During the 1966 Gemini 12 mission, Aldrin popped open the hatch, pointed a camera at his own helmet, and successfully captured the most expensive and inaccessible profile picture in human history.
