Why hard drives are filled with helium

It turns out normal air is too thick and clunky for premium storage devices. High-capacity hard drives are hermetically sealed and filled with helium because its lower density creates less drag on the spinning platters. This allows manufacturers to cram more discs into the same space without the motor burning out, proving we have industrialized party balloons to hoard more data.
