Solar mass is so unfathomably huge that the Sun accounts for exactly ninety-nine point eight percent of all the matter in our entire solar system, effectively reducing everything else, including Jupiter, Saturn, Earth, and all the asteroids, to mere mathematical rounding errors; this gigantic, continuous thermonuclear explosion is currently converting millions of tons of hydrogen into helium every single second, creating an intense gravitational pull that forces planets to circle it endlessly like terrified hostages trapped in orbit; it puts human existence into a hilariously bleak perspective when you realize that all of our wars, achievements, and petty internet arguments take place on a microscopic speck of dust orbiting a very average, middle-aged star that could comfortably fit one million Earths inside of it without even stretching
