Typoglycemia is the brilliant flaw where your brain reads whole words as single pictures rather than processing individual letters. As long as the first and last letters of a word are correct, the middle can be complete gibberish and you will still read it fluently. Your visual cortex is basically a highly efficient spellchecker that entirely gave up on the details.
