Neolithic humans managed to transport the massive bluestones of Stonehenge over one hundred and fifty miles from Wales to England without the use of the wheel or alien intervention. Modern travelers constantly complain about hauling a rolling suitcase through a paved airport terminal, yet our ancestors literally dragged multi-ton rocks across unforgiving terrain just to build a giant, confusing calendar. People still stand around the site today looking for some mystical, extraterrestrial explanation because it is simply too humiliating to admit that ancient folks in loincloths had a better work ethic than we do. It is essentially a monument to prehistoric stubbornness, proving that even thousands of years ago, humans were perfectly willing to overcomplicate a landscaping project just to show off to their neighbors!
