A closer look
Nothing highlights modern engineering compromises quite like trying to refill the blue windshield juice. As engine bays became incredibly crowded with turbochargers, massive electrical modules, and cooling plumbing, the humble plastic fluid bottle was aggressively shoved into whatever hidden cavity was left. Often buried deep inside the front fender, only the tiny, frustratingly narrow filler neck remains accessible. Pouring in a heavy gallon jug invariably results in splashing aggressive blue chemicals all over the incredibly expensive alternator directly below it.
