A stone so inherently depressing it practically demands you hurl yourself from a tall building. Allegedly stolen from an idol, this intensely dark gem developed a terrifying reputation after several prominent owners met sudden, incredibly steep demises. It was eventually re-cut by a jeweler who claimed that slightly altering the shape totally 'broke' the lethal hex.
