Inner monologues are strictly reserved for main characters

Supporting characters are apparently completely hollow husks devoid of any internal thought processes. Only the central protagonist is gifted with the magical ability to narrate their deepest existential dread directly to the audience, while everyone else merely exists in the present moment without a single contemplative thought.
