A closer look
When you take a sharp turn in a rapidly moving car, you strongly feel a mysterious force violently shoving you outward toward the heavy door. That outward force completely does not exist; it is entirely an aggressive illusion. Your physical body is stubbornly trying to continue moving in a perfectly straight line due to basic inertia, while the heavy car is violently turning inward underneath you. You are not being thrown outward; the vehicle is literally slamming into you.
