A closer look

In 1968, one guy essentially predicted the entire modern office environment in a single 90-minute presentation. Douglas Engelbart stood on stage and publicly debuted the computer mouse, hypertext, word processing, and video conferencing all at once. The event was so historically mind-blowing that nerds retroactively named it 'The Mother of All Demos,' mostly because no tech CEO has ever managed to introduce that much world-changing innovation without immediately ruining it with a subscription model.
