A closer look
Only an animation studio with way too much rendering power would spend actual, real-world money to painstakingly animate fake mistakes. Back when 3D animation was incredibly slow and expensive, Pixar deliberately crafted blooper reels of their digital characters flubbing lines, bumping into boom mics, and breaking character on set. It was a hilariously petty flex of their technological dominance, perfectly mocking the self-importance of live-action Hollywood actors while guaranteeing audiences would stay seated until the very last credit rolled.
