A closer look

Paramount Pictures' iconic mountain logo originally featured twenty-four stars to represent the exact number of film stars the studio had exclusively under contract during the golden age of Hollywood. However, in 1974, they inexplicably redesigned the logo and reduced the number to twenty-two stars, and nobody at the company has ever been able to provide a logical reason for the change. You would think a multi-billion dollar media conglomerate would have strict documentation regarding the meaning behind their globally recognized corporate branding, but they apparently just let a graphic designer drop two celestial bodies by pure accident.
