When war elephants became medieval tanks

HERE’S THE INTERESTING PART

Medieval tanks came with tusks and a seriously bad attitude problem. Indian empires didn't just use elephants for transport; they strapped heavy steel armor, bladed tusk-swords, and poison-tipped chains onto the massive beasts. The elephants were trained to crush infantry and fling horses into the air. It was basically a heavily armored, very angry skyscraper stomping right through enemy front lines.
