The sleep schedule built from short naps

HERE’S THE INTERESTING PART

Polyphasic sleep attempts to cheat biology by entirely discarding the traditional block of night rest. Instead, participants scatter multiple short, intense twenty-minute naps throughout a twenty-four-hour period. While it sounds incredibly efficient, it usually completely derails the circadian rhythm, forcing the individual to live in a perpetual, agonizing state of strict nap schedules just to avoid collapsing.
