Chinese artisans painted inside tiny glass bottles

HERE’S THE INTERESTING PART

Painting on a flat canvas was apparently far too easy for Qing dynasty artists. Instead, they took miniature glass snuff bottles and used bent brushes with single hairs to paint wildly elaborate landscapes and calligraphy entirely on the inside of the glass. It requires a level of backwards, upside-down spatial reasoning that makes threading a needle look like child's play.
