Icelandic sorcerers historically crafted magical wealth-bringing pants out of flayed human corpse skin

Forget investing in crypto; medieval Icelanders had 'nábrók' or necropants. The ritual required getting a friend's permission to dig up their corpse after they died, flaying the skin from the waist down in one intact piece, and wearing it. You then placed a stolen coin inside the scrotum to ensure endless wealth. It was the absolute most horrific, unhygienic, and legally complex way to make a quick buck.
