Decisiveness is not a trait found in quantum particles. Until forced into an interaction, an electron does not have a specific location; it exists as a fuzzy cloud of probabilities spread across space. It is literally everywhere it could potentially be all at once. Only when you measure it does the electron finally panic and pick a single spot, entirely ruining its majestic multi-tasking.
