Creating vibrant art sometimes requires severely dehydrating farm animals. Artists prized a brilliant pigment known as Indian Yellow, completely unaware it was manufactured by feeding cows nothing but mango leaves and violently boiling their deeply toxic urine. The resulting bright yellow was simply stunning, provided you ignored the appalling smell.
