Abramelin the Mage left behind a rigorous mystical grimoire detailing a brutal, eighteen-month magical operation designed to allow the practitioner to converse directly with their holy guardian angel. The grueling process requires you to entirely abandon your normal life, lock yourself in a purified room, abstain from all physical desires, and pray relentlessly in complete isolation until you hallucinate a divine entity. Once you finally establish contact with your angel, you are then immediately required to summon the most powerful demons of hell and casually force them to swear loyalty to you. This is essentially the mystical equivalent of an extreme marathon where the finish line involves actively bullying Satan into doing your household chores. Modern occultists still occasionally attempt this grueling operation, entirely ignoring the fact that locking yourself in an empty room for a year and a half is virtually guaranteed to make you hallucinate without any magical intervention whatsoever
